A very good friend of mine really likes travelling; visiting popular tourist destination like the Panglao Island Nature Resort of Bohol. Here are some of her pictures of the varying sceneries; a beautifully landscaped park and garden close to the sea.

I'm so grateful to have all these photos that I can publish on my blog. I  all the views especially the swimming pool as it can be very warm in the summer.

This view of some  farmland in Calinan, Davao, is just incredibly beautiful . Do you like being in the countryside?

Some people dream of settling down in the middle of nowhere for a change to a laid back lifestyle. It can be interesting.

I searched around on the Subclipse wiki and found that the details were stored in the Windows %APPDATA%\Subversion\auth directory, which is C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Subversion\auth on this computer. As I was only having problems with one repository I did not want to delete all of the passwords. This meant opening up all of the files in the svn.simple directory and looking for the repository URLs. Fortunately, the files are all text but the file names are seemingly random hex digits.

After deleting the file for the problematic repository I just went to Eclipse again, entered my password once and the problem was solved. I did not even have to restart Eclipse.

Enhancement request 2775 on the Tigris issue tracker will hopefully be looked at in release 1.8 but it has been waiting for attention for almost 3 years now.

This is one of the plants I have in my back garden. Spring is here. I  cherry blossom because it is amazingly beautiful when it flowers

I have just seen this video  of Imelda Marcos. Many years ago, it was, and still is, a controversial issue for many people around the world especially the Philippines. It's unthinkable now

Does this picture look familiar to you? I guess not. This modern entrance arch is now the new face of St. Mary's Academy of Kidapawan, formerly Notre Dame of Kidapawan for Girls. I also have loads of photos inside the school grounds including the new classrooms and the gym.

Students who studied here a long time ago would be really amazed to see how their old school has improved. This is so different compared to the old building; which appears to have been knocked down.  The design of the new fence of the entrance and the gate is beautiful. I   this place.

Have you seen this sort of lizard before? My brother found this beautiful young animal near home. I heard that when this gliding lizard gets older; wing-like flaps of skin will start to grow from its abdomen. It's so peculiar

This might be a Draco Volans; a Philippine flying dragon but I'm not sure as I cannot find a picture that exactly matches it. The mixture of colours of its skin is fascinating.

This beautiful view of Sagbayan Peak is one of the attractions of Sagbayan town in the Visayas region of Bohol. One of the amazing features you can see on these photos is the background of the Chocolate Hills, which was taken from Sagbayan;  a neighbouring town of Carmen; the main location of the Chocolate Hills. 

Within the park there's an outdoor area provided; a children's playrgound; it's not visible though  It's overlooking the natural and attractive scenery. It's astonishing.

Will there be a JavaOne in 2010?

Yes, there will be a JavaOne Conference in 2010. JavaOne will be co-located with Oracle Develop during Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco from September 19-23, 2010. You may experience and register for JavaOne as a standalone conference just as before, or you can attend Oracle Develop 2010 and/or Oracle OpenWorld as well; it's your choice. Furthermore, unlike in recent years, JavaOne will focus solely on Java Technology and its associated ecosystem. You're welcome to attend Oracle Develop and Oracle OpenWorld to gain insight into specific products. As usual, all Java users and partners are invited to submit papers and to attend JavaOne.

And here's more good news: We're taking JavaOne and Oracle Develop on the road, arriving in Brazil, Russia, India, and China in 2010/2011. For the first time, the rapidly growing developer communities in those countries will have access to the JavaOne experience. Although the currently scheduled Sun Tech Days in India and Russia will continue to occur as planned, JavaOne and Oracle Develop will occur in place of Sun Tech Days thereafter.

I am very glad that JavaOne is still going ahead and it will be very interesting to compare it with previous conferences. I still need to read about the impact on other parts of Sun's business including the open source database MySQL.

The resort that the locals and tourists are talking about is the steaming Lake Agko on Mt. Apo near Kidapawan. I haven't been there but I was so glad that I managed to get loads of photographs from a very good friend of mine, Ana Arne Galbo.

It's always nice to know that from Kidapawan you could actually travel from there easily to see this popular local destination. The views and various features of these attractions are beautifully landscaped; which means that it's likely that we will have more visitors coming in now and in the future to come. I think that this place is gorgeous
