In the recent years, Kalasuyan, a barangay of Kidapawan, has been trying to improve the small dirt roads, just like what you can see in this rugged terrain. Unfortunately, it always take time for everything to get done, and also the finance is always a big concern when planning to build roads. This is especially true out in the countryside where most people who live there don’t pay tax.. Hopefully, the barangay will keep improving itself.

Kidapawan City Hall has recently been enormously improved. I can see that the whole front of the building has been beautifully repainted. Aside from refurbishing, they are also adding some new features onto the roof, one of which looks like a big dome. Domes are frequently built to get lots of natural light into the centre of buildings. I’m sure it will look nice when it’s done.

This picture was taken during Kidapawan City Meet.

Official Vatican Channel On YouTube

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

Last week the Vatican launched their official YouTube channel. Thousands of visitors have already viewed the high quality broadcasts. I think it’s really nice that from now on people around the world can view a lot of activities and programs, including masses from St. Peter’s Basilica and other topics related to the Catholic church. Here in this website there are loads of videos to watch.

I’m not completely sure what are these shelters were for on the grounds of the city plaza of Kidapawan. Behind these cottages which you can’t see is the road leading to Central Mindanao Colleges. Having the trees along the road are beautiful and I hope that people will protect the trees from being cut down elsewhere. I found this picture while looking through some photos we took a few years ago. Sometimes it is really nice to see how things change.
