Beautiful Park For Everyone To Enjoy

Friday, July 17th, 2009

Not long ago, while travelling, we walked past this beautiful park surrounded by trees. People come here to go for a walk or to relax in the sun. It was nice to see the students from a local school enjoying the park during their lunch break. There are plenty of cycling paths that everyone can use.

The latest pictures that I fancied for my blog are of these animals that I took in the park. I think that some of these creatures are really nice especially for children.

In the Spring, wandering around the park with the family can be an exciting adventure. One of the things I do is take pictures of these colourful blooms which I think are really nice features in the park.

This picture will be familiar to many visitors who have been to Baguio before, as this is one of the most popular destinations in the city. I think that The Mansion has a lot of character. It has had an interesting history since it was built during the American colonial time. The whole building looks very interesting from the outside. It’s beautiful.

This bird looks enormous and they have stubby wings. If you thought that all birds fly then you will find this bird very strange. Ostriches are one of the few bird species that cannot fly, which also includes penguins, emus, rheas, kiwis, and the extinct dodo. It’s a shame that they can’t fly; flying looks like it must be fun.

One of the attractions in Baguio is at the top of Mines View Park. Many people go there to hang out and appreciate the panoramic view of the region. It’s quite cool up there, while in Manila the temperature is rather different.

It was late Saturday afternoon when I walked past and noticed that these children were having fun skating on the frozen canal nearby. It was fun and they didn’t mind me taking pictures of them.
