This is a selection of wall and floor ceramic tiles products from Eurotiles, Philippines that are samples on display for sale in the SMA Lumber & Construction Supply shop in Lanao, a barangay of Kidapawan. I’m so glad that we were able to visit the shop as I was interested in looking for some tiles for a small project at home. Whilst there we took some pictures to be able to look at them at home and to post them here so more people would know about this great shop. If you fancy some of these beautiful designs, you can always pick up the phone and ask for information. The shop is located in Lanao, Kidapawan City. Their telephone number is 278-3450.

Tiles At SMA Lumber & Construction Supply
Sunday, May 3rd, 2009Eva Mall, Kidapawan, is almost finished
Sunday, February 8th, 2009
Last July I uploaded a picture of Eva Mall that was being built along Quezon Boulevard in the centre of Kidapawan. Now, as you can see, there’s a great improvement on the whole face of the building as it’s visible that most windows are done. I wonder what ‘s on the top floor that has a red canopy, perhaps it’s a place where you can see a lot of the city. I wonder if you can get there to have a look the outside. Maybe it will be an expensive penthouse or a nice office.
I wonder what people will think when this department store is finished. I hope that security measures will be checked properly before it opens for business as it’s a high building and things can happen any time.
Silver Jewellery Shop, Baguio
Thursday, November 6th, 2008This is a lovely shop just outside the Baguio Botanical Gardens that sells various types of silver jewellery. We saw the sign outside the shop, which looked interesting, so we went inside and discovered that they had a nice selection of necklaces, rings and bracelets that were meticulously made by hand. We bought 2 really nice filigree necklaces, one to wear when going out.
Terraced Houses In Cambridge
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008This is a row of houses in Cambridge city centre. It’s quite nice as people who live here are very close to the shops and pubs. The downside of being in the city is that most houses don’t have their own garage, as you can see that the cars are parked just outside the street. I assume that they have a valid parking permit as without it a fine will be issued to the owner, and it can be expensive. Ouch!
There are many bookstores in the city centre. In some of them, you can buy books for much less than their normal price. When I went there I had loads of them to take home. It’s wonderful.
KMCC New Department Store In Kidapawan
Sunday, September 14th, 2008Kidapawan Megacentre Corporated or (KMCC) is a new department store in Kidapawan. It was open over a year ago although at the time they were really busy doing building works inside and outside. The builders were busy finishing the front side of the store including putting up some lamp posts just before shoppers come in. At the time, it looked like they were putting up a sitting area where all those nice lights were installed.
The ground floor of the store has a very large supermarket with a high ceiling, which makes it feel very spacious. There are also some small shops selling jewelry just around the corner on the same floor. Allan’s bookstore is now available in KMCC as well. Other services like a hair salon, furniture shop and a restaurant are useful additions to the growing need of the locals. Fast growing technology, like mobile phones, is also popular and you can get it here without any problem. There is also a pawnshop called De Leon and a photography shop.
The enormous selection of food, including fresh fruit and vegetables, and other necessities for home are so easy to get in the supermarket as they have nearly everything you need.
The baggage area is just outside the main door. Tight security has been implemented at the entrance where guards use body scanners to make sure shoppers are not carrying weapons.
I like this place and I do a lot of my shopping here; it’s fun. It is very easy to get there. Just catch a tricycle to Dayao.St. 9400 Kidapawan City or ask the tricycle driver to take you to KMCC as almost all of them know where it is.
Metro Kidapawan Telephone Corporation
Monday, August 11th, 2008This is the building of the Metrophone Kidapawan. It’s a telephone company in the city centre, one of the internet providers available in town. If you ever think about installing a land-line or internet at home just contact their office as the employees are very friendly and helpful.

Mega Market
Monday, July 21st, 2008The large building on the right of the picture with a green roof is the Kidapawan Mega Market. You can also see that there’s is a parking space for the tricycles for various destinations.
Eva Shopping Centre
Saturday, July 19th, 2008This is the latest shopping centre being built in Kidapawan. Early this year it started opening their business with shops and China Bank on the ground floor. Ready to wear clothes, shoes, bags and many others products are available. If you are looking and thinking about buying home appliances come to this place and see what’s in the store. It is always good idea to compare the price from other shops you have been. In this way you can decide which one you are aiming to get with a good value for money.
If you are somebody who likes browsing the internet while you are out, there is an internet cafe on the ground floor. Most large shops in Kidapawan do not have a nearby internet cafe, you have to go to the city centre which is not very far. I think that shoppers would like the idea of easy access to anything what they need to do while out shopping.
