Kidapawan City Hall has recently been enormously improved. I can see that the whole front of the building has been beautifully repainted. Aside from refurbishing, they are also adding some new features onto the roof, one of which looks like a big dome. Domes are frequently built to get lots of natural light into the centre of buildings. I’m sure it will look nice when it’s done.

This picture was taken during Kidapawan City Meet.

I’m not entirely sure what was going on here when I took this picture. The way I look at it is that there’s going to be a feast day, as I can see that there are slingers above which, in the Philippines, means that there will be a big event very soon.

How to get here. You can catch the LRT and get off Carriedo Station in Sta. Cruz, Manila. This church is beautiful. I like coming here each time I’m in town. Most of all, shopping in this area is so much fun.

I saw this luxury passenger boat, called SuperFerry 12, heading towards Manila, while I was travelling on a different boat to Bacolod with my friends. A good friend of mine, who used to live in Bacolod, invited me to see her family. I was also looking forward to a short holiday as I had never been there before.

We were on the observation deck when I took this eye catching view of the rolling hills of Marinduque. Looking at this spectacular mountain scenery was just awesome. It was a nice experience and we had fun. Unfortunately, coming home the weather was really bad and the strong winds were worrying.

One of the interesting places to look at is the Ifugao village in Nayong Pilipino, Pasay City, Manila. It’s beautiful. All that natural insulation probably makes them relatively cool and pleasant to live in.
