This is a row of houses in Cambridge city centre. It’s quite nice as people who live here are very close to the shops and pubs. The downside of being in the city is that most houses don’t have their own garage, as you can see that the cars are parked just outside the street. I assume that they have a valid parking permit as without it a fine will be issued to the owner, and it can be expensive. Ouch!

There are many bookstores in the city centre. In some of them, you can buy books for much less than their normal price. When I went there I had loads of them to take home. It’s wonderful.

This is a view in Sotogrande near Cadiz, Spain. I was out in the road walking and looking around, and I happened to see this white house being built downhill in the rugged terrain. I like being there but it can be very lonely when you don’t have friends.

The Valderrama Golf Club, one of the best known golf clubs in Europe, is nearby.

This is part of the fabulous Admiral Hornblower’s walled beer garden in the centre of Oakham, England. It’s a great place to have a meal or a beer with friends. The trees, shrubs, and other plants go perfectly with the 17th century walls.

This is Ely train station in Cambridgeshire, England. Travelling from this station with my family was really nice and very easy as it takes less than an hour to get to central London without changing. When you are in the train time flies really fast as I didn’t notice that the train was already arriving at the next station. We were enjoying ourselves looking around at the views outside its just nice and stress free.

Being in London is nice, although it is a very busy city. In places like this you have to be very smart so you don’t have any problems especially when you are on your own. We were fine and we had a wonderful time together.

St. Pancras International

St Pancras InsideSt. Pancras International is one of the newest train stations in London. Once you arrive at the station the first thing you notice is the huge space inside. It’s just nice to look around. There’s so many things going on; people everywhere are just very busy coming and going from different directions. One particular sight you see is that travellers are looking at the tv screens for information where to go next. The most important thing you have to do when you arrive at the station for the first time is find your way out by reading read the large signs. It’s very vital especially if you are in a big city that you can get lost. Make sure you check-in as early as possible to avoid delay. (more…)
