Added Various Philippine Christmas Greetings To CafePress

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

I have added various Christmas greetings which are spoken in different parts of the Philippines. Some of this greetings sound very similar to each other when you try to say it in its own accent, particularly the greetings from the regions of Visayas and Mindanao. They all actually have same meaning: “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” so buy a T-shirt, calendar or one of the many other quality gifts to give to your friends and family.
I found it very interesting to find them. Previously, I only knew how to say “Merry Christmas” in Cebuano and Tagalog; now I know quite a few.

In the Philippines, even in Mindanao, we don’t have Cebuano lessons at school and we were not taught exactly how the words in Cebuano are written or spelled. The reasons I say that is because some parts of the Visayas and Mindanao regions speak almost the same language and the difference is the accent and some of the words but again the meaning is the same.

New CafePress designs with styled text

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007

We have been trying some new ways to make the text on our CafePress designs even more attractive. One of these ways is to style or warp the text so it is stretched and twisted. All of the designs are available on all the products. Here are some of our newest designs with the new styled text.

I recently came across; an independent search site for CafePress store online, which provides an alternate way to search for T-Shirts in CafePress. What this website actually does is just showing people a selection of text slogans and graphic designs; hundreds of them in different graphics, layouts, colours and styles of writing printed on t-shirts.

Through these website you can search for anything by typing in a word or phrase in the Search box. As long as the word or phrase you typed matches a design in CafePress then you will get a result. It is very easy to find a particular slogan that you like especially if you are looking for places in the Philippines; there are so many of them.

I like visiting this website. Just looking at the different designs being shown here is interesting and it gives me a bunch of ideas.

Abstract Art on CafePress

Sunday, November 26th, 2006

I have added an abstract art section to our CafePress store that includes designs by one of the younger artists in our family. I think they show a lot of style, good use of colour and space. I particularly like the designs on the buttons and magnets although they make a very interesting print on a t-shirt. Here are some of the designs:
