It seem like that this Elf, one of the features around the park in Saguing, near Kidapawan, is having a good time. I hope that the park attracts more visitors everyday. More visitors means more money will be collected, which can be used for making improvements in the park.

Elf In The Park
Friday, March 27th, 2009A Painting Of Crocodile In A Rock
Sunday, March 8th, 2009The park and garden popular to locals between Kidapawan and Saguing, has been beautifully landscaped, including added features like a rock painting that makes it look like there is a crocodile inside it. It’s popular with visitors, especially the children, as they think it’s quite amusing.
Decorative Street Lights
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009The City of Kidapawan is looking good, apart from the exposed electric cables above. The streets in many areas have been improved. Like here, you can see that the pavement is stylish; it looks like cobblestones. There are also large plant pots along the main roads which I think are beautiful. This is what happens when everybody who is working pays tax. The money that is being paid is very useful for making improvements like putting up these decorative street lights as well.
Animal Statues on Display During City Meet
Thursday, February 26th, 2009What happened few weeks ago, was a celebration of the Kidapawan City Meet. Local schools were also invited to get involved and meet up at the city hall. Soon after that there was a parade all the way through the city centre.
There were also extra attractions like a market with lots of things to buy, which is always interesting. I think that a lot of people appreciated how all these amazing pieces of furniture had been beautifully handmade from reclaimed wood. Like these animals, if you look at them closely, they look like they’re real as all the small pieces of wood have been precisely put together. They look fantastic.
Paete Church Mural, Laguna
Monday, September 1st, 2008
This mural inside Paete Church is a picture of the various levels of heaven, purgatory and hell. The details of this mural are very intriguing and disturbing. It’s very strange. I believe this painting is entitled Purgatorio (Purgatory), by Josef Luciano Dans (1805- ca. 1870), which shows the eight forms of punishment the soul passes through for cleansing before reaching Heaven. There is more information here.
Gateway To Kidapawan At Night
Sunday, July 13th, 2008A long shutter exposure picture taken at night between Saguing near Kidapawan. The headlights and the backlights of the cars, vans, tricycles and other vehicles look really nice. The photo was taken by King Bacamante, the owner of King’s Studio, Datu Ingkal St.
Abstract Art on CafePress
Sunday, November 26th, 2006I have added an abstract art section to our CafePress store that includes designs by one of the younger artists in our family. I think they show a lot of style, good use of colour and space. I particularly like the designs on the buttons and magnets although they make a very interesting print on a t-shirt. Here are some of the designs:
